THE EXORCIST (1973) DIR:WILLIAM FRIEDKIN

Adapted from the 1971 novel by William Peter Blatty.Something beyond evil is happening in a little girl's room. Regan has brutally changed both in the way she looks and the way she acts, with violent outbursts on everyone who comes in contact with her. Her worried mother gets in contact with a priest who comes to the conclusion that Regan is possessed. The top priest who can deal with an exorcism, Father Merrin, is called in to help save Regan from the demon inside her.

For years after the release of this film there were rumours about a certain scene involving Regan walking crab style backwards down the stairs..pictures were often seen in magazines but the footage was always said to no longer excist.Years later we finally got to see this footage for the first time in the DVD release The Exorcist - The Version You've Never Seen.Horror fans rejoiced at the oppertunity to finally get to see the legendary scene.

The place belongs to Lord Summerisle and is famous because of their plantation of apples and other fruits and their harvest. Sgt. Howie realizes that the locals are pagans, practicing old rituals, and Rowan is probably alive and being prepared to be sacrificed. The end of the story is a tragic surprise.Remade decades later featuring Nicholas Cage..yet more proof that there's no need to keep remaking already proven films from the past!

Determined to have revenge, the other students hatch a plot against Carrie, which turns horribly wrong when Carrie's strange mental powers are unleashed during the school prom.

ALIEN (1979) DIR:RIDLEY SCOTT

When commercial towing vehicle Nostromo, heading back to Earth, intercepts an SOS signal from a nearby planet, the crew are under obligation to investigate. After a bad landing on the planet, some crew members leave the ship to explore the area. At the same time as they discover a hive colony of some unknown creature, the ship's computer deciphers the message to be a warning, not a call for help. When one of the eggs is disturbed, the crew do not know the danger they are in until it is too late.

George and Kathy with the help of another priest Father Bolen and a police detective they face the fears of the house, but not knowing the spirit is planning to possess George and then the children...
