First off. These despicable, overtly sleazy, nasty, totally trashy and tasteless chunks of celluloid aren’t for the every day crowd. Blending sleazy often ridiculous sex and torture these films often pushed the envelope [as they say] when they burst on the scene during the early to mid 70’s. Pure exploitation; nothing more and nothing less, these are a ultra bizarre subgenre that I find entertaining for probably all the wrong reasons . While many have disappeared into obscurity or can only be found on multi generation dubs, here’s the ones that have found there way to my Collection; so far!

Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS

Tagline: “The most dreaded Nazi of them all!”. Finally a completely UNCUT version [thumbs up Anchor Bay] of this prison camp torture sleaze o plenty epic exploitation classic. Notorious and controversial in it’s time even exploitation producer David Friedman had his name removed. I wonder why, I would be so proud. Busty to say the least Dyanne Thorne is Ilsa, a Fraulin Doktor and Commandant of a Nazi medical prison camp 9 where torture---I mean medical experiments---are the soup of the day. Her lust for brutality is matched only by her search for a man that can satisfy all her sexual desires. And those who don’t---shall we say ‘whack his pee pee’. Loaded with nudity and torture, I mean medical experiments; castration, floggings, rape, pressure tanks, electrocutions, etc are all carried out by Ilsa and her cronies. Its fun stuff filmed on the sets of “Hogan’s Heroes”, this is technically the very best of the lot. Followed by the forgettable “Ilsa Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks, Ilsa: The Tigress of Siberia and Jess Franco’s unofficial sleaze filled “Greta: The Torturer” that picked up the alternate title “Ilsa: The Wicked Warden”

This, a Canadian entry, is my favorite next to the first of the Ilsa films. But it has one major near fatal flaw. The first part is standard issue Ilsa [breast-tacular Dyanne Thorne] who heads a snowbound prison camp where she continues her barbaric torture tactics with the usual floggings, electrocutions, etc. See a head smashed with a giant hammer and the HIGHLY ENTERTAINING infamous chain saw arm wrestling scene for instance. And of course sex filled nights. BUT at about 40 minutes in the film makes a very disappointing turn when she makes a hasty escape and reemerges 27 years later in Canada running a whore house.

Or the Network DVD package title “Achtung! The Desert Tigers”, so call it what you will, while I call it a sad attempt at Italian Nazi exploitation. You guessed it, another Death Camp, this time in the African desert, where male & female British & American prisoners are stripped naked to be [far to briefly] castrated, whipped and generally violate by the guards with some of the typical depravity and sleaze, until they finally have had enough and make a daring escape. Biggest problem is that after the first 30 ‘things are shaping up nicely’ minutes, on comes the scenery chewing bullshit and the fact that it just lacks…Panazz!---is that even a word?---as this turns into a dull war drama. Hey---what? Where did my torture sleaze go? Completest may find it favorable and I confess the dismal “Hell Train” isn’t looking so bad after all. Lbx’d, a little washed out in the color department and dubbed in English with German subs.

‘Banned as a Video Nasty’. Despite the title change, incredibly lame bogus looking mismatched credits and cropped fullframe print this is the notorious “Last Orgy of the Third Reich”. Trust me fellow brethrens of slime, it’s as sick, vile, perverse, violent and down right sleazy as an Italian Nazi-Exploitation-Trash classic comes. SS Kommander Starker runs a tight camp that acts as a brothel for soldiers to fulfill their violent and sexual desires with the naked female prisoners. With his female Gestapo officer they delight in inhuman experiments, until they come across Lise, who seems to be unbreakable. Without a doubt the most sordid entry packed with, sexual violence, beatings, burnings, humiliation, cannibalism and even sees unfortunates fed to the dogs, German Shepard’s of course. No redeeming value as they say this is unapologetic filth that looks to be UNCUT, just the way I like it.
Attention: The film is not suitable for our younger viewers. Hell it’s not suitable for many of our older viewers either. As confirmed by this Notable Dubbing: “This girl loves to smell the excrement of a man and of course more. She eats it; she smears her body with it. She is happy. Like with a drug, she is ecstatic, she masturbates, she cums”.

“La Deportate della Sezione Speciale SS” is filthy but routine ladies in lock up nastiness from mid 70’s Italy that’s sure to please fans of the crusty Nazi sexploitation genre. Unjustly deported women arrive at a concentration camp where things go from bad to worse for our unfortunate ladies. Stripped naked, their heads and pussies shaved and subjected to gynecological exams to become sex slaves for the sadistic male and female guard’s until they make a daring escape. Packed with the usual, rampant nudity, lesbian lust, forced sex, cat fights, cruel clubbings, and of course the often mentioned corked razor blades in the vagina for the commandant’s dick distress, but surprisingly low on torture. What a pity. From the director of the mind blowing schlock funtastico “Werewolf Woman”. BCI DVD offers a sub par but UNCUT English version that is watchable enough and double billed with the soft and truncated “Escape From a Women’s Prison: A Story of Sex and Violence”.

‘Banned as a Video Nasty’. Wonderfully bad Unrated Nazi torture sleaze-o-rama “Lager SSadis Kastrat Kommandantur” straight from Italy finds German soldiers carrying out heinous experiments on prisoners to help create a master race. See often-naked female prisoners that are [rather mildly] tortured and forced to have sex for my entertainment on a quiet Sunday evening. Not really recommended as this is one of the weaker Nazi-ploitation fallout films that followed our beloved Kommandant “Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS” ’74, but this rubbish suits me just fine. And I’m saying it’s a far cry better than “Hell Train”. Package title: “SS Experiment ” on Substance DVD. a. k. a. Captive Women II: Orgies of the Damned

A French/Spanish co-production “Train spécial pour SS” is a completest only attempt also known as “Captive Women 5” with Ingrid as the head of a group of Nazi sluts who are on a train bound for who cares. There purpose is to keep the German soldiers happy boys of course. A dull entry that shuns violence and torture in favor of exploiting naked babes and spankings. Hilarious dubbing like a scene where a girl is being spanked while her spanker utters "One and two why don’t you, three and four you want some more!?". All Aboard!!

‘Banned as a Video Nasty’. Tagline: “Horrifying Experiences in the Last Days of the S.S.”. Halleluiah children---one of the nastiest of the Nazi exploitation epics “The Beast in Heat” under its original Italian title, released with one of the alternates and package title, “SS Hell Camp” has arrived. Waning Nazi soldiers are gathering up women for slaughter, a small group of insurgence is on the rise and Ilsa-like [minus the Double D’s] Dr. Krast has created a caged beast [in heat] that ravages women in a grunting frenzy. Why? So slimy cine-phile maggots like me can happily rot away in our dank dark horror infested dens. Mucho sleaze, trashy as hell and rather abysmal this rancid number is god damn funny too. The usual torture tactics apply [‘cept the pubic hair munching…that’s a new one] but I must say “Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS” ’74 still reigns supreme. Directed by “Nude for Satan “ ‘74 director Luigi Batzella under the pseudonym above, now on Media Blasters new sub label Exploitation Digital. Werewolf Women of the SS
A bizarre take on the Nazi exploitation genre that has women turned into werewolves is a ludicrously wonderful idea. This could be construed as one of the best , but the problem remains that it has not been made. DAMN IT! WHY? WHY do we have to endure remakes when we could have something new and refreshing. We can only hope that the faux Rob Zombie trailer from Grindhouse sees the light of day.

Recently an abysmal attempt revisit the Nazi exploitation genre, “Blitzkrieg: Escape from Stalag 69” ’08 reared it’s ugly head but failed to get the job done in my exploited eyes.
